Republican Candidate Filing Applications
For March 3, 2026 Primary Election
For the March 3, 2026 Primary Election, if you are planning to run for an office and be on the ballot, the filing period begins on Saturday, November 8th. If the position you are running for falls only within Comal County, you’ll need to file your application with the Comal County Republican Chair at our headquarters building on 265 Landa Street in New Braunfels.
We will be open on Saturday the 8th, from 10am to 2pm if you plan on filing the first day. Our normal business hours are 10am to 2pm Monday through Friday. The filing deadline is Monday, December 8th at 6pm. Our office will be open late that day to accommodate any last minute filers.
